Cullintra Delight
Cullintra Delight is a 16 2hh ISH by Hunters Delight out of Ballylaughin Judy. He is 17yrs old this year and has been with Sue since he was 9 yrs old. He was imported from Ireland and purchased from Cullintra Stud
Fairly new to eventing when he arrived with Sue, having only completed 2 events in Ireland, he proved an exciting ride as he is a big, strong, huge striding guy . Sue still keeps in touch with Nadine (his previous owner) and highly recommends Cullintra Stud to anyone looking to purchase a top class horse from some top class people.
In 2007 he was reserve champion Area 1 training level coming second to Sue's other ISH Ard Intimate (Ard Intimate was purchased from Heather Wright at Ard Cherrymount Stud and Sue can also highly recommend Heather also if you are looking for a top class horse from a top class breeder/trainer) by just a few points. For various reasons following 2007 he did not get the opportunity to get a full season in until 2012 after taking a year and a half vacation as Sue managed to fracture her femur and had to take the year off. Two surgeries later and with her leg now much stronger than normal (due to a titanium rod) they are back at it. Check out the updates and news page for 2012 updates. We are hoping to get all our qualifying runs in this season and finish up with an intermediate go.

Pictou
Pictou is out eventing with Sue and Cully she is an Argentinian TB imported to race in the U.S. Unfortunately she was not a good race horse but she has made the most excellent eventer and would also be an excellent show jumper or maybe even hunter. Pictou has been with Lancaster Stables for 4 years now and has progressed up to training level this year. She has all the scope and speed to go Prelim and above and since she has had 4 clear xc runs she is qualified to move up. She is brave and honest and loves her job. At the begining of 2012 Pictou was taken out show jumping by Sue (to test out Sue's leg) and she ribboned in every class (3 in total) with out a rail all day. As sue realized her leg was going to hold up the jump offs got faster and she ended up winning her 3' class with speed and great turns. A great mare to have but sadly she is for sale check out more photos on the horses for sale page
