Not to forget... we also compete in pure dressage and Pretty woman EF had a great outing to her recognized show taking ribbons in all her classes and winning one after not showing for over 4 years in dressage.  She was great at the show, easy to handle, very settled in her stall and super easy to ride this horse really is a sweet heart and is for sale.  Make

Back out eventing with Cullintra Delight Sue's ISH at preliminary level. It has been a year an a half since Cully has been out competing due to Sue's broken leg. A good start to the season at Winona Ht OH at training level and then moved back up to Preliminary.  A little rusty at first and certainly had to work hard to get him back up to fitness level but just recently at Stuart HT he hit his form with clear xc and showjumping.  A little slow on xc unfortunately lost us first place but a great effort to go clear on a tough course.  Pictured above is Cully at GVH HT making the table look easy, he loves to put space between him and his fences and hates to touch anything. His dressage has also improved, he was so excited to be back out showing that it affected his dressage as he would be tense and squeal as he set of in canter! Back in the 30's now so makes him much more competitive:)

Pictou.... came out this season (also after having a year and a half off) and moved straight up to training level. She has had an awesome move up - all clears on xc with 4 recognized shows under her belt including Stuart. Her dressage has improved and she is now in the 30's. Pictou did not take much getting fit being an ex racehorse her fitness and stamina are incredible. She is now jumping 3' 7" to 3' 9" at home with ease and is almost ready to move up to preliminary level:) She of course is unfortunately for sale and will make someone a great eventer or showjumper , she is brave, honest and straightforward.

Congratulations to Jan new owner of Palmetto Princess:) We are very excited Jan lives locally and is an excellent horsewoman Princess has a great new home and we still get to watch her p

loving this weather!  So time for an update ......   Cheese Whiz purchased from us by Tesla Parker has returned from a week in Southern Pines enjoying the sunshine and lessoning with Denny Emmerson.  Tesla reports that Cheesie was a super star and Mr Emmerson thought quite fondly of her:) We are excited to see how far this talented pair go together:)
My broodmares now bred to Prince Optimus of Elandale Farm returned on the same trailer! We are so pleased to have them back and a big thankyou for the excellent care they recieved at Elandale Farm. Photo's soon of the fatties:) Now for the excitement of foaling... agggghhhh.

Took to her free jumping beautifully showing very nice form at a vertical and nice balanced approch and landings

Ard Intimate and Sarah Barah will be returning from Elandale Farm NC next month:) We have missed them. They are both bred to Prince Optimus check out www.elandalefarm.com
They are due this summer and we are very excited to see their foals although very nervous also!!! Ard Intimate is my retired Intermediate 1* horse and has excellent irish blood lines with Clover Hill and King of Diamonds in there and her Dad Ard Black Cat is a grand prix show jumper as well as her Grandpa Ard Alley Cat.
Sarah Barah is a crafty prospector line tb and is one of the best galloping horses I have seen so we should get some athletic babies if everything goes to plan...... fingers crossed.

I (Sue Robshaw) am now back to full riding and training after snapping my right femur in half back in May 2011. After 2 surgeries and 4 months on crutches it is back to full riding capacity. The good news is that it is even stronger than before due to having a titanium rod from knee to thigh:) A huge thankyou to everyone who helped us out during this time.
All of our horses are now in training and progressing beautifully.
Cullintra Delight my prelim horse is doing fitness work hoping to start the season off at prelim and move up to intermediate asap.
Pictou has already been out and shown in the Jumpers and had  3 double clears at the 3' and 3'3" height taking a 3rd, 2nd, and 1st as I tested out my leg in competition and improved the jump off rounds.
Palmetto Princess our 5yr old is in the middle of her ground work and I should be getting on her this week.  She is showing a nice way of going and should suit the hunter/jumper ring or be a nice eventer.... more news on that as she progresses.

Penobscot aka Peanut is now under saddle and jumping. Picture below is of her recent free jumping session 4' 7" vertical.  She is "freaky carefull" of the poles but also has that rare quality of being bold not a combination usually found together.  Exciting news is that the Maddens ( John and Beezie) may be going to evaluate her for their programme when they return from Florida this Spring.

Dr Zippett is now gelded (Nov 2011) and under saddle training well and has started jumping showing excellent form and a great natural eye for his distances he is going to be a very eye catching horse at the shows.
